BASIC PISTOL COURSE
June 6 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Basic Pistol Course will cover the following topics:
Handgun familiarization
Handgun types and nomenclature
Handgun safety
Ammunition basics
Shooting and Marksmanship fundamentals
Handgun cleaning and maintenance
Instructor led range exercises
Each participant should bring eye and ear protection
They should bring their own gun and at least 50 rounds of ammunition
NO ammunition is allowed in the classroom, please leave in car until headed to range
If participant does not have a gun, they may use one of the demonstration guns and reimburse for ammunition used.
Participants should also bring any drinks, snacks or lunch they may want, and dress for the expected weather for the day.
Insect repellant may be needed.
Class will start at 9:00am on June 6th in the clubhouse.
The classroom training will be 3-4 hours, and range activities about 2 hours.
We will not break for lunch
Class cost is $40.oo per participant.
