NRL Match

May 15

Registration starts @8:00 am / Shooting @ 9:00 am

We will be hosting a new shooting match this year called NRL22.  NRL22 is a precision/practical rimfire shooting match based on the very popular precision long range matches like

Precision Rifle Series and Precision Rimfire Competition.  NRL22 is a scaled down version designed for 22lr on shorter ranges simulating the center fire matches at long range.  Our matches could possible

go out to our 200yrd line, but we will mostly be shooting from barricades and positions at 50 tp 100 yards.

We will follow NRL Course of Fire that they post on their website monthly in the download section. Consisting of 5, 2min states plus a bonus stage designed by us.  If we get enough interest and have shooters that want to join NRL we can submit our clubs scores for rankings, classes, prizes and to see how you stack up against other shooters across the nation.  Fore more info go to nrl22.org and check out the FQA section and also the DOWNLOAD section for COFs.

All you need for this match is a magazine fed scoped 22 rifle with a precise zero, 1 or 2 magazines holding at least 10 rounds total, 70-80 round of (accurate) 22lr ammo and eye & ear protection.  Some things that are nice to have but not necessary are a bipod mounted to the rifle and a sandbag of some sort.

This format is suitable for the beginner and the expert shooter, however, solid fundamental gun handling habits are required, you must know how to operate your rifle and follow and understand the basic

rules of firearm safety.

Whether you’re a squirrel hunter or a competitive shooter few things are as much fun as plinking with a .22 and that’s what should make this match so enjoyable.
